Ovenbaked Wonton Wrapper Chips

Want healthy, home-made chips in a hurry? Having a party? Or just wondering how to use those extra wonton wrappers while they're fresh?

Pop these in the oven and in less than 10 minutes you can be crunching on them with some dip and vegetable crudites.

A healthy option for entertaining


Preparation Time: 2 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Makes: 2 crackers per wonton wrapper

Ingredients
Wonton wrappers
Sesame seeds (optional)
Spray oil

Method
  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius.
  • Spray a baking tray with oil.
  • Cut the square wrappers diagonally into triangles. The easiest way to do this is to take a stack of wrappers, cut them, and then peel them apart.


  • Place on the baking tray and spray with oil. Sprinkle with sesame seeds, if using, and lightly tap the seeds down.

  • Golden brown after baking

  • Bake for 4 to 5 minutes, until golden. Leaving them slightly undercooked is better than slightly too dark.

  • Enjoy alone or with a simple dip.
