Pan Fried BBQ Pork

It's so simple and quick to have our homemade juicy and tasty BBQ pork, even if we haven't got an oven in kitchen.



Preparation Time: 3 hours or overnight
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Makes: 2-3 servings



Ingredients
2 pieces of pork scotch fillet, 200g each
1 tbsp bbq sauce
1 tbsp seafood/hoi sin sauce
1 tbsp honey
2 tbsp olive oil
some water

Method
  • Marinate pork scotch fillets with 1 tbsp bbq sauce and 1 tbsp seafood/hoi sin sauce, put in fridge for 3 hour or overnight.

  • Heat frypan over medium heat, add 2 tbsp oil to pan, then put marinated fillets to pan, pan fry fillets on each side for 4-5 minutes.



  • Cover with some water, cook for 2-3 minutes until all water is absorbed or done.




  • Add honey and pan fry fillets on each side for a while.



  • Slice into pieces and serve with rice or noodles, any leftovers can be made a delicious char siu bun.
