Pan Fried Teriyaki Boneless Chicken

Such a tasty and easy dish for lunch or dinner, best served with salad, steamed rice or noodles.



Preparation Time: 1-2 hours
Cooking Time: 12 minutes
Makes: 2-3 servings



Ingredients
5-6 pieces of big chicken drumsticks
2 tbsp teriyaki sauce
1 tbsp chicken powder
1 tbsp finely diced garlic
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp sesame oil
Some thyme leaves (dried or fresh)
1 tbsp extra light olive oil
Some white sesame (optional)

Method
  • Remove bones of chicken drumsticks to make them as boneless chicken steaks.



  • Marinate chicken steaks with 2 tbsp teriyaki sauce, 1 tbsp chicken powder, 1 tbsp chopped garlic, 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice, 1 tsp sesame oil and some thyme leaves, put in fridge for 1-2 hours.



  • Heat 1 tbsp oil on frypan over medium-high heat, add in chicken steaks one by one, with skin facing down.



  • pan fry one side for 5-6 minutes, then change to another side for 5-6 minutes until done.



  • Sprinkle with some teriyaki sauce and fresh lemon juice, garnish with some white sesame (optional), then serve.
