Peanut Butter and Chia Bites

Don't pay $4 for a protein ball at a health food shop or café, make them yourself! These peanut butter and chia bites are nutty, soft, full of protein and are a real treat for a quick pick me up throughout the day or a light snack before yoga or a run.

These bites only have 4 ingredients, are super easy to make, are healthy, vegan and gluten-free - so everybody wins.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 0 minutes
Makes: 10 servings

6 dried dates or 4 medjool
4 tbsp natural peanut butter
2 tsp chia seeds
1 scoop protein powder

Place all the ingredients together in a food processor and pulse until combined.

Roll into 10 tablespoon sized balls.

That's it, enjoy your home made protein balls!

NOTES:Store in refrigerator.
Use either chocolate, vanilla or plain protein powder.
Check protein powder is vegan if you are.
Can use crunchy or smooth peanut butter or experiment with other nut butters such as walnut butter

Carb free foods
Looks nice. But not sure about whey. Isn't it from milk? Nothing wrong with that, just not vegan :)
Hello, yes you are right Whey is not vegan. I did but a little note at the bottom to outline to check your protein powder is vegan if need be. It can be made with either of course. Enjoy! :)
