Peanut Butter and Oat Energy Bliss Balls No Added Sugar
These are so easy to make and are vegan, and they are also healthy. I am not vegan however do not want to eat cake and things with added sugar in them but still want that "sweet" taste.
I used a "no added sugar or salt" peanut butter and this recipe only contains 3 ingredients.
Very easy to make, and quick.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes plus 10 mins. soaking
Cooking Time: 0 minutes
Serves: 15 balls
Ingredients
¾ cup Medjool dates, pipped and chopped
½ cup rolled oats
¼ cup peanut butter
Method
Soak the dates in a bowl of hot water for about 10 minutes.
Drain them.
Put the soaked dates, oats and peanut butter in a food processor.
Process until it is all very finely chopped.
Roll into about 12 - 15 balls.
You COULD garnish them with chia seeds if desired, however I left them plain.
Put in the fridge for at least 20 minutes before serving, and store any unused ones in the fridge.
