Peanut Butter Protein Chews

Protein Balls are now commonplace and contain a variety of ingredients from healthy to the not so healthy. I still prefer making my own, as I can be certain of the ingredients being used. These little morsels taste like you're eating peanut paste out of a jar.

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: Nil
Serves: 16-20 depending on size

Ingredients
1 cup unsalted roasted peanuts
½ cup rolled oats
4 tablespoons rice bran syrup
2 tablespoons protein vanilla powder
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon desiccated coconut
Pinch of sea salt

Method
  • Place the peanuts into a food processor and pulse the nuts breaking them down into crumbly texture.

  • Peanuts are the main ingredient in these chews.


  • Add the remaining ingredients into the food processor and blend until all ingredients have combined.

  • Roll the mixture into golf sized balls. Refrigerate until required.

  • Roll the mixture into small balls and refrigerate for up to a week.
