Pear Chocolate Galette

Pear galette is a pie with crispy edges and soft fruity middle. It is hard not to like this combination.
There are many variations of pear galette recipes all over the Internet. I offer you my version, which includes dark chocolate and sliced almonds.

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 35 minutes
Serves: 4

Ingredients
Pie crust:
0.5 cup whole-grain flour
0.5 cup oat flour
4 tablespoons coconut flour
4 tablespoons rapeseed oil
4 tablespoons hot water
Pinch of salt
1 tablespoon brown sugar
Filling:
50 g dark chocolate
3 large pears
4 tablespoons sliced almonds
0.5 teaspoon cinnamon
Juice from one lemon

Method
  • Heat oven to 190° C (375° F). Combine dry ingredients for pie crust. Then, add rapeseed oil and hot water. Mix them in. Form dough and put it in the fridge for at least 10 minutes.

  • Peel and slice pears. Cover with lemon juice and cinnamon.

  • On top of parchment paper, roll the dough out to form a circle. Grate dark chocolate over the dough. Arrange sliced pears, leaving the border clean. Sprinkle with almonds and fold the edges up.

  • Bake for 35 minutes.
  • When the galette is cooled down, cover it with powdered sugar and serve.
