Pistachio Parmesan Biscuits

The tasty combination of nuts with cheese is given even more depth of flavour by using wholemeal flour.

Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Makes: 36 servings

Ingredients
1 egg
375g self-raising wholemeal flour
125g margarine
4 tbsp water
30g pistachios
1 tbsp tomate puree
40g grated parmesan

Method
  • Blitz the pistachios in a food processor to turn them into really tiny pieces.



  • Beat all the ingredients together to form the dough.
  • Pre-heat the oven to 200 & #3872 ;C/ 180 & #3872 ;C fan/400 & #3872 ;F/6 Gas.



  • Roll out the dough and use a cookie cutter to cut out the biscuits.



  • Bake in the oven for ten minutes and then allow to cool.
