Pork Fennel and Apple Sausage Rolls
Pork and apple are always wonderful together and the hint of fennel just take them to the next level. Make these sausage rolls for lunch boxes, a picnic or just a weekend snack! They won't take long to disappear.

Ingredients
500g pork mince
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 large cooking apple, peeled, quartered
1 small brown onion - peeled, quartered
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
2 sheets ready-rolled puff pastry
1 tablespoon milk
Nigella seeds - optional
Method
Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
Process apple, onion and fennel seeds.
Place mince, breadcrumbs and apple mixture in a large mixing bowl and combine really well (best mixed with your hands)
On a large chopping board, place one sheet of pastry and cut it in half lengthways.
Place a quarter of the filling along the long edge and then roll up and cut into 6 even pieces.
Repeat with the other pieces of pastry and place on the baking sheet. Brush with the milk and sprinkle with seeds, if desired.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden on top.
