Chia Puddings or Chia Pods as they are called in the supermarket are so good fo breakfast. Packed full of protein they are great for snacking too. But why would you buy them when you can make them at home?

My Chia Pudding with berries

Preparation Time: 1 hour
Cooking Time: In fridge over night
Makes: 1-2

4 tabelspoons of chia seeds, white or black
1/2 cup of your choice of milk, almond or coconut milk
Maple syrup to sweeten
Fresh berries to garnish

This may seem like it takes a long time to make but it really is worth it.
Place all ingredients in a measuring jug and stir for about 1 minute so that it all mixes in really well.
Place in the fridge covered.
The seeds clump together so it needs to be stirred again after half an hour, and then again after one hour.
After the second stirring I like to transfer it into my serving glass. Depending on size of the glass or ramekin, you can get one or 2 serves out of this. Or you can double the recipe to make more.
Back into the fridge with these and they need to be left overnight, unless made in the morning, then they need to be in the fridge until the evening at least. If the chia seeds are still crunchy it hasn't been left in the fridge long enough.
Top with some fresh berries and serve.
