This lasagne is incredibly moreish. By using cheese sauce instead of white sauce, this dish is richer and yummier.

Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Cooking Time: 40 minutes
Makes: 4 servings

600g of minced beef
packet of lasagne sheets
Bolognese sauce
1/2 plain flour
1 cup of milk
1 cup of grated cheese
1/2 can of tomatoes
Pepper and salt
2 tbs butter

Brown the mince in a saucepan and stir in the bolognese sauce and tinned tomatoes.
Allow to simmer for 20mins.

While the sauce simmers, prepare the cheese sauce.
In a small saucepan melt the butter and mix in the flour to create a crumb like texture.
Over the heat, slowly pour the milk in and stir until the consistency is smooth.
Add half of the cheese and mix in until melted.
To prepare the pasta sheets I like to partially cook them before assembling the lasagne.
In a shallow fry pan boil the sheets in water.

In an oven-proof dish assemble the lasagne.
Start by putting a layer of pasta on the bottom followed by the cheese sauce then the bolognese sauce.
Repeat the layers until all the ingredients have been used.

Top with the left over cheese and bake for 40 mins or until the top is crusted and brown.
