Baked Tortilla Chips

When I was younger, there was a fast food place in the city called torts. They made really tasty fried tortilla chips. I decided to make some myself, but I have chosen to bake them instead of frying, and they are just as good, if not better.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 14 minutes
Makes: 8-14 chips

Ingredients
1 tortilla
Himalayan pink salt to season
2 tablespoons of olive oil

Method
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Cut tortilla bread into 8 pieces. Cut some of the bigger pieces in half.
Place pieces on a tray lined with baking paper.
Brush each piece with olive oil. Turn over and repeat.
Season one side with salt.

Brush with olive oil and season with salt


Place tray in the oven and bake for 14 minutes.
Take chips out of the oven if ready they should be brown and crunchy.
