These slices have no added sugar, and are not over sweet, which makes them great in my books as often slices have way too much sugar.
There is also no cooking involved, and these are fairly nutritious snacks.
I have added a dollop of cream on the top and of course, this is optional.
Using dried figs, coconut, and slivered almonds is an unusual mix and it works brilliantly to give a very moist, moorish biscuit.

1 cup dried figs, soaked in ½ cup water for 12 hours
2 cups blanched slivered almonds
1/3 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
Pinch of salt
Sweetener-either stevia (about 12 drops), coconut syrup, or agave syrup-1-3 tsps
#No added sugar
