I have always loved the peking steak from my local Chinese restaurant, but always wondered how it tasted so good! So after much experimentation, this recipe tastes really good (if I do say so myself)!

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Makes: 5 servings

1/4 cup Soy Sauce
1 teaspoon of crushed garlic
500g stir-fry beef
2 cups of Breadcrumbs
1 cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons sweet chilli sauce (or sweet and sour sauce if you prefer)

Mix together the soy sauce and crushed garlic.

Pour the soy mixture over the beef and leave to marinate for about 3 minutes.
Pour the oil into the hot wok.
(To check to see if the oil is hot enough, place a wooden spoon or chopstick into the oil. If the oil bubbles instantly, the oil is hot enough.
The oil must be hot so the beef doesn't soak it up.

Toss the beef in the breadcrumbs, until each piece is completely covered.
Place about 6 pieces of the crumbed beef into the oil at a time, fry for about 2 minutes or until the crumb is golden brown.

Remove from the oil and while hot, drizzle with the sweet chilli sauce.
Served with homemade fried rice.
