Quick and Easy Fruit Pastries
A quick and easy recipe for those who want a yummy home-cooked treat.

Preparation Time: 10-20 minutes
Cooking Time: 10-15 minutes
Makes: Makes 4 - 24 fruit pastries depending on how many pastry sheets you use.

1 tin of fruit pieces (apricots, peaches or pears, or whatever else you feel like).
1 pack of puff pastry (we used one with 6 sheets in a pack).
50ml of milk

Extras (if desired):
Ice cream
Icing sugar

Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Lay out desired number of sheets of puff pastry and quarter them.
Open your tin of fruit pieces and drain out the syrup.
Place pieces of fruit in the middle of each 1/4 square of puff pastry, leaving approx 1.5cm or so empty on each edge.
Fold over all the edges so the fruit is cocooned around the sides and press each corner down firmly once folded.

Use a brush to lightly cover all visible pastry with milk.
Put into oven.
Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 10-15 minites or until pastry is puffed up and a golden-light brown colour.
Add whatever extras you desire and enjoy!
