Chocolate Bran Mousse

Getting young 'uns to eat a filling and comprehensive breakfast is made a cinch when disguised as chocolate mousse. Soaking bran flakes or sticks gives that thick, creamy texture, while the defrosted banana provides a concentrated but natural sugar hit that is sure to please.

And there is no shame in enjoying a very adult chocolate breakfast when you are guaranteed to reap antioxidants and fibre from a meal like this!

Preparation Time: 5 minutes (plus overnight soak)
Makes: 1 serving

1 frozen banana, chopped
3/4 cup bran sticks
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp raw cacao powder
1 cup soy milk

Throw all ingredients together in a bowl or glass and mix well.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Before serving, stir the mousse through for consistency.
