Crockpot French Toast

This recipe is good to use up stale bread. As bread is a staple in many homes, the included ingredients are probably already in your kitchen. A good leftover, too!

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 4 hours
Makes: 5-6 servings

10 eggs
4 cups milk
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup cinnamon
1/2 cup vanilla extract

Tear bread into bite-sized pieces and fill crockpot.
In a large bowl, blend eggs, milk, brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla extract.
Pour over bread pieces and with spoon make sure all pieces are coated.

Cook on low for 4 hours.
Top with butter and syrup.
