Avocado and cream cheese. Two ingredients that go well together. It makes for the perfect dip.

Avocado and cream cheese dip
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 0 minutes
Makes: 1 small bowl of dip
Ingredients
1 whole avocado
1 tablespoon of light cream cheese (two tbs if you like it creamier)
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Parsley to garnish
To serve
1 225 g box of multigrain crackers
1/4 red onion
4-6 cherry tomatoes
1/2 to 1 teaspoon of salt for the tomatoes
Method
In a bowl add the avocado and mash with a potato masher.

Mashed avocado, try and get it as smooth as possible
In a small bowl add cream cheese and cut into chunks.

Cut up the cream cheese into chunks and allow to soften
Allow cream cheese to soften before adding to the avocado.
To the bowl then add in lemon juice, salt and pepper.
Mix with a beater mixer on high until well combined.
Spoon mixture into a serving bowl and serve with some crackers.

Avocado and cream cheese dip with the extra cream cheese
To serve as an apetizer make these right before serving or the avocado makes the crackers soft.
Start by spreading about half a teaspoon of dip on to some multigrain crackers.
Thinly slice some red onion and place on top.
Wash some cherry tomatoes about 4-6 cut in half and salt each one.
Place half a tomato on each one.

These are my apetizers or I have them just for an afternoon snack
