Potatoes are a meal/accompaniment that I have often, as I love them and they are so versatile.
In this recipe I have mixed them with apples and a creamy sauce making a gratin.

450 g potatoes
2 small apples, quartered
100 ml thickened cream
50 ml milk
1 garlic clove
65 g cheese, grated - I used Swiss cheese
