Fun, tasty and great to share for brunch, lunch or at parties. It is filled with bacon, spinach, sundried tomatoes and cheese in a pastry shell.
The bacon and spinach taste delicious. It can be altered to make vegetarian, or for low FODMAP, lactose and gluten free requirements.
Delicious, fun to make and share savoury twist
: 10 minutes

: 1 Twist, 8 slices
2 sheets puff pastry, defrosted (gluten free if required)
1 tablespoon oil
1 clove garlic, crushed (exclude for low FODMAP)
1 cup sliced bacon (exclude for a vegetarian option)
2 1/2 cups baby spinach
1/4 cup sundried tomatoes (or 1 large tomato, diced)
1 - 2 tbsp sundried tomato oil (from the jar)
1 cup grated cheese (or lactose free cheese, if required)
1 egg, beaten
Pepper, to season
Allow a 3 cm edge free of ingredients to seal the top and bottom
Put a glass on the centre of the pastry and cut 8 slices
Gently twist each slice
