Giant Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate Chip Cookies always taste best straight from the oven when they are still warm and gooey.

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Serves: 9

450g plain white flour
2 eggs
150g margarine
150g caster sugar
150g chocolate chips
1 tsp cocoa powder (optional)

Pre-heat the oven to 180 ༠C/ 160 ༠C fan/325༠F/5 Gas.
Cream the margarine with sugar, then beat in the eggs one at a time, with a touch of flour.
Fold in the rest of the flour, and stir in the chocolate chips.

Using a dessert spoon, divide the dough into nine.
Roll them up into dough balls then flatten into thick discs.
If you like, sprinkle cocoa powder over the top.

Place the cookies on a baking tray and bake in the oven for 10 minutes.
