Fig and Macadamia Balls with No Added Sugar

I had a packet of figs in the pantry and I still have macadamias from when I lived on a property, so I sat down and shelled some to make this mixture.

It turned out delicious, and is very easy and low fat for those who are dieting or cannot eat refined sugars.

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 0 minutes
Serves: 22 balls

250 g Turkish figs
100 g macadamias
1 heaped tbsp cacao
Pinch of sea salt
½ cup coconut

Put all the ingredients except the coconut into a food processor.


Mix until it is thoroughly combined.


Put the coconut into a bowl.

Roll the mixture into balls of whatever size you wish.

Dip each one in the coconut and roll it around so it is coated.


Put in the fridge for about 30 minutes before serving.
