All hail - it's super food Kale!

Have you heard of Kale? It is being called the 'Queen of Greens' - high in fibre, iron, vitamins, calcium and antioxidants AND low in calories and fat!!

We are going to enjoy the superfood in chips form - a fun way to get your kids to eat their greens.

Be warned: you will fight with your kids for that last chip. It is addictive ~

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 3-5 minutes
Makes: 4 servings



Kale Chips


Ingredients
- Kale 1 bunch
- Olive oil 2T
- Canola Oil Spray
- McCormick Fries Sprinkle 2T



Kale Chips


Method
Pre-heat oven to 200C.
Cut off the Kale stem from the back along the ridge.
Wash and thoroughly dry the Kale leaves.
Tear Kale leaves into chip-size pieces.
Place the leaves in a large bowl and light coat & toss in olive oils.
Lay them flat on baking paper and bake for 5 minutes.
Lightly spray with canola oil when necessary.
Keep your eyes on them to make sure they don't overcook. Kale get burn easily in the final 2 minutes.
Sprinkle with fries seasoning and serve.
