PullApart Cheese Bread

My family loves cheese bread and this kind of cheese bread is great because everyone can grab little pieces as they want them. Great served with pizza instead of garlic bread or as a dipper for soups.



Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Serves: 4-6

Ingredients
1 cob loaf, or you could use this Cob Loaf Recipe
2 cups grated cheese
1/4 cup butter, melted

Method
  • Preheat oven to 180C.
  • Slice the cob in a criss cross pattern making sure you do not cut through the base.

  • Transfer cob from chopping board to foil lined oven tray.
  • Stuff the grated cheese into the bread trying to get some between all the slices.

  • Pour melted butter evenly over the loaf.
  • Bake for 20 minutes until cheese has melted and the loaf is crispy on top.

  • You could add bacon, mushrooms, capsicum, garlic and/or pizza sauce to transform this into something even more delicious.
