Quick Orange Pineapple Banana Tropical Breakfast Smoothie

This smoothie is a quick and easy way to add an extra shot of fruit to the day. Packed with orange, pineapple, banana, and yoghurt, this smoothie is a fresh and delicious addition to any breakfast.



Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Makes: 4 servings

Ingredients
2 bananas
2 cups pineapple pieces
1 cup orange juice
1/2 cup crushed ice
1 cup skim milk
2 tablespoons vanilla or mango yoghurt
2 tablespoons honey

Method
  • Place the crushed ice into a blender with the orange juice and milk. To crush whole ice cubes before adding them to the blender, I pop them into a snap lock bag and smash them with a kitchen mallet. Fun, and the small ice pieces are easy on my blender.



  • Add pineapple pieces, honey and yoghurt.



  • Peel and chop the bananas into smaller chunks and add these to the blender.



  • Blend everything together until smooth and creamy.



  • Divide between glasses and serve with breakfast.
