Makes: 2 (in a tumbler, cocktail or red wine glass, otherwise 1)
All of the ingredients ready to go
Ingredients 100g of Raspberries (if in doubt, a punnet is more than enough)
200g of Farmers Union Greek Style Natural Yogurt (or any other brand of your choice. You will only need around 150g)
1/2 cup of Milk (full cream or soy)
1 Scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream (not to be put in the blender)
NB. Use remaining Raspberries for presentation purposes when serving.
The ripple is about to start
Place raspberries into the blender. Use your prep time to weigh if needed.
Place about 100g of the natural yogurt into the blender.
Pour milk into the blender.
Ensure blender lid is on, and blender is switched on at the mains. Blend on medium level for 60 seconds.
Pour smoothie into the tumblers counting to eight on each occasion.
Take 25g of the natural yogurt and place on top of the smoothie creating a swirl action. That way the fresh yogurt sinks into the smoothie. Then take 1/2 a scoop of (now partially melted, that's the idea) vanilla ice cream and place on top. Place a couple of berries on top if desired. Repeat this process for each drink and use all remaining raspberries to decorate the serving dish, and now serve remembering to give each guest a teaspoon. This smoothie treat is great for eating and drinking simultaneously.
