It is said that raw foods are better for you because they retain all the nutrients from the ingredients, but there is another benefit to raw food too. No cooking. It makes things so much less of a hassle. These raw brownies are surprisingly good for you in other ways too, as they are flourless, fruity, and only contain natural unprocessed sugars.

Ingredients
140g medjool dates
60g pecans
60g hazelnuts
5 tbsp cocoa powder
3 tbsp desiccated coconut
3 tbsp honey
2 tbsp coconut oil
Method
Blitz the nuts to fine crumbs in a food processor.
Add the dates and blitz again.
Add the remaining ingredients and blitz again.
Press the mixture into a square baking tray and then chill in the fridge for two hours before slicing.
