Roasted Garlic Satay Chicken Wings

The perfect golden crisp appearance and yummy satay sauce make the baked chicken wings a mouth-watering dish.

Preparation Time: 60 minutes
Cooking Time: 15-20 minutes
Makes: 5 servings

5 chicken wings
1 tbsp satay sauce
1 tsp chicken powder
2 garlic cloves, finely diced
1 tsp salt
extra 2 tbsp satay sauce to serve
some oil


In a mixing container, mix 1 tbsp satay sauce, 1 tsp chicken powder, diced garlic and 1 tsp salt to form a marinade mixture.

Use your hands to coat the chicken wings with marinade sauce evenly, cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Pre-heat oven to 180 C.

Spray some oil a roast rack and skewers.

Thread chicken wings onto skewers.

Lay chicken skewers on the rack. Brush some remaining marinade mixture on them.

Put in oven, bake for 10 minutes.

Take the rack out, turn chicken wings to another side, brush some remaining marinade mixture.

Put in oven again, bake for another 5-8 minutes.

Drizzle with 2 tbsp satay sauce. Best served with steamed rice and Asian greens.
