Roasted Garlic

Roasting garlic gives a milder flavour that is also sweet and sticky. It's really quick to prepare and cook and a great addition to recipes and roasts.



Preparation Time: 2 minutes
Cooking Time: 12 minutes
Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients
6 cloves garlic, skin on
Olive oil
Sea salt

Method
  • Separate the garlic cloves but leave the skin on.
  • Place in some aluminium foil, add a dash of olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt.



  • Wrap up the parcel and roast in a hot oven (about 200c) for 12 minutes.



  • Open the foil parcel and you will have beautifully roasted and mild garlic cloves.

  • You can eat these with their skin on. I recommend giving them a gently squeeze before adding to dishes. Try with baked fish, roast potatoes or scattered in a salad.
