Satay Pork Balls
Delicious pork balls with a creamy satay dipping sauce. Great for entertaining or enjoy as a main meal with steamed rice. Pork can be substituted for chicken or beef mince.

Serves: 4-6
Ingredients
500g minced pork
2 cloves garlic minced
3 tbsp fish sauce
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
3 tbsp chopped coriander
vegetable oil for frying
For the satay Sauce
4 tbsp crunchy peanut butter
2 tbsp brown sugar
3 tbsp fish sauce
1 cup coconut milk
1 clove garlic crushed
1 tsp grated green ginger
2 tbsp chopped corriander
1 chilli finely chopped (optional)
Method
Combine the minced pork, garlic, fish sauce, hoisin sauce and coriander in a bowl and mix well to combine. Use wet hands to roll pork balls.
Fry the pork balls in hot vegetable oil until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and keep warm.
In a separate saucepan, cook garlic, ginger and chilli in a tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the peanut butter, brown sugar, fish sauce and coconut milk. Stir to combine until sauce thickens. Add chopped coriander.
Serve sauce beside pork balls or with steamed rice as a main meal.
