Sausage & White Bean Cassoulet

Looking for a quick and easy dinner solution? This Sausage & White Bean Cassoulet is great for when you're stuck on ideas to please the whole family.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Makes: 6 servings

1kg beef sausages
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic or 1 tbsp garlic paste
2 tbsp instant gravy powder
2 cups water
400g can diced tomatoes
400g can cannellini beans, drained
Fresh basil to serve


In a pan over medium-high heat, heat oil cook the sausages for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.

Transfer to a plate and set aside.
Add the onion to the pan and cook for 1 minute or until softened

Add garlic and return the sausages to the pan.
Stir in the gravy powder.

Add water and diced tomatoes.

Bring the mixture to the boil and reduce the heat to low.
Cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until the sauce thickens slightly and the sausages are cooked through.

Stir in the cannellini beans.

Season with salt and pepper.
Top with fresh herbs and serve with bread.
