Shimla mirch recipe

Capsicum made with cashew nut and coconut is very delicious and is prepared instantly. 

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients
1 capsicum (shimla mirch) finely chopped
1 onion finely chopped
2 potatoes finely chopped
1/2cup shredded coconut
5 to 6 cashew nut
1 inch piece (paste) garlic
1/3 tsp cumin seeds
1/3 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp oil
Salt as per taste
1/2 cup milk

Method
& #9679 ;Take oil in a pan and place it on flame for heating.
& #9679 ;Add cumin seeds,mustard seeds, cashew nut and sauté for few seconds.

& #9679 ;Add onion, potatoes and garlic sauté for few minutes till colour change into brow.

& #9679 ;Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and capsicum. Cover the pan with help of lid and cook curry on low flame.

& #9679 ;Open the lid and stir the curry. Add coconut and salt stir constantly until capsicum gets coated nicely with the spices.

& #9679 ;Add milk and sauté till it becomes dry. Don’t overcook the capsicum it should be crunchy.





& #9679 ;Take it out in a serving bowl.
