Sooji Ka Halwa

This is the recipe for preparing sooji halwa/semolina.

Very easy to prepare and one of my kids favourite desserts.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Makes:4 servings

Ingredients
1/2 cup semolina/Sooji
1/2 sugar
1.5 cup hot water
1/2 cup dry fruits
1/4 cup ghee




Method

Heat a deep pan on a medium heat and when hot add the ghee. When it melts, add dry fruits will be golden brown in colour.






Add semolina, sugar and hot water and mix well without any lumps.



Cook the mixture till it is thick and begins to come away from the sides of the pan.



Serving suggestion: Serve hot for best taste.
