A new take on a pasty; instead of wrapping the filling in pastry, you can have tasty wholemeal bread.

Makes: 5 servings
Ingredients
250g wholemeal bread flour
¼ tsp salt
1 tsp fast action yeast
2 tbsp olive oil
200ml water
450g frozen spinach
100g feta cheese
25g cashew nuts
½ onion
Method
Mix together the flour, salt, yeast, olive oil and water to form a dough.
Knead the dough for five minutes, and then prove for about an hour.
Defrost and drain the spinach.
Toast the cashews, cut the feta into cubes, and mix in with the spinach.
Chop and fry the onion, and then add to the mixture.
Pre-heat oven to 220 ༠C/ 200 ༠C fan/425 ༠F/7 Gas.
Roll out the bread dough and use a saucer as a template to cut out four circles.
Place the spinach mixture in the middle of each circle.
Fold over all the edges of the dough to seal the filling inside.
Bake in the oven for fifteen minutes.
