Sticky BBQ and Maple Glazed Pork Rashers

These tasty pork rashers are baked so the sauce becomes that fantastic sticky sauce that is a true crowd pleaser. Serve them with a simple garden salad and sauce for a complete meal.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 60 minutes
Serves: 4

Ingredients
3/4 cup BBQ sauce
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup maple syrup
2 tbs dijon mustard
3 tsp smoked paprika
1.5 kg pork rashers

Method
  • Preheat oven to 220C and line a baking tray.
  • Combine the BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, maple syrup, mustard and paprika in a saucepan.
  • Bring to a boil over a medium high heat, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes until sauce has thickened.

  • Pour half the sauce into a bowl and set aside until ready to serve.
  • Brush both sides of the rashers with the remaining sauce.

  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, turning occasionally and brushing with any remaining sauce.
  • Serve with the reserved sauce and a salad.
