Stirfried Bok Choy in Garlic Oyster Sauce

A combination of garlic and oyster sauce can bring a simple vegetable dish to a tasty and delicious meal. It is a quick and simple vegetable stir-fry that you can have with steamed jasmine rice or to serve as a side dish. For vegetarian option, use vegetarian oyster sauce instead.

Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Makes: 4 servings

Ingredients
2 bunches bok choy, cut into half
1 tablespoon roasted diced garlic
2 tablespoons oyster sauce

Method
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a pan. Add in the roasted diced garlic.



  • Add in the bok choy and pour in 1/4 cup of water.



  • Cover and let it cook in the steam for 3 minutes, until the bok choy are wilted but still bright green and crunchy.



  • Add in the oyster sauce and mix well.



  • Transfer to a plate and serve immediately.
