Strawberries Romanoff with Chantilly Cream

A quick and easy recipe for ringing the changes with strawberries.



Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: None
Makes: 4 servings

Ingredients
900g strawberries
3-4tbsp Grand Marnier
Icing sugar to taste
200ml double cream
The seeds of a vanilla pod

Method

  • Wash and hull the strawberries.



  • Put 250g of the strawberries, the Grand Marnier and a small amount of icing sugar in a blender and whizz until you have a smooth purée.





  • To prepare the Chantilly Cream whip the cream, 2-3tsp icing sugar and the vanilla seeds until you have soft peaks.



  • Pile the strawberries, sliced if they are large, into 4 serving glasses or bowls.

  • Drizzle with the strawberry purée.



  • Top with the Chantilly Cream.
