Super Simple Rice Pudding

Looking for something filling for the next few days for breakfast? Want to find a simple and sweet treat for dessert? Look no further, this rice pudding recipe is super simple and super filling.



Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 60 minutes
Serves: 8

Ingredients
2 cups rice
5 1/2 cups milk
1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
2 cups sugar
1/2 tablespoon vanilla (or maple syrup)

Method
  • Pour 2 cups rice into rice cooker.
  • Add 4 cups milk.
  • Add 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon.
  • Add 2 cups of sugar.
  • Add 1/2 tablespoon vanilla (or maple syrup)
  • Cook in rice cooker for 1 hour, stir every 8-10 minutes. Be aware that the milk will want to spill over in the last twenty minutes of cooking, so be prepared to calm the storm.
  • When done, stir in 1 and 1/2 cups of milk. Place in bowls, top with cinnamon, and serve.
