I made this dip completely off the cuff one night, when I wanted some flatbread, but realised I had nothing to go with it. Just by rummaging in the fridge and storage cupboards, I took out a few random ingredients and cobbled this sweet chilli together in the five minutes it took for my flatbread to grill in the oven. It is so quick and easy that it makes it perfect if you are inviting people over for a buffet or serving a sharing platter for starters. The dip will work well with bread, prawns, chicken skewers, etc.

Makes: 1 small bowl
Ingredients
1 red chilli
2 tbsp plain yoghurt
2 tsp agave nectar
1 tsp lemon juice
Method
Dice the chilli very finely. Depending on how hot you want it, you can decide whether to keep or discard the seeds.
Stir in the remaining ingredients.
Get a piece of flatbread and dip.
