Ingredients 2 very ripe avocados
115 g dark chocolate (Lindt 70%), melted
¼ cup cacao powder
¼ to ½ cup milk -you could use almond milk for vegan
2 - 3 tbsp date syrup - you could use honey
¼ tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp tahini paste
Pinch sea salt
Put the avocado flesh in a food processor.
Add the melted chocolate, cacoa powder, milk, date syrup, vanilla, tahini paste and salt.
Puree this till it is combined and creamy.
Spoon the mousse into four dishes and chill for at least two hours.
I served it with a bought caramel custard though it would be nice with cream also. Or even add ½ tsp cardamom to the cream and a tbsp sugar.
