Tamari Glazed Tuna Steaks
Good quality fresh tuna is expensive but a must, particularly when tuna is eaten raw as sashimi or seared rare to medium. I would normally visit the
Sydney Fish Markets to get my staple, however I was lucky to receive a large batch of freshly caught Blue Fin Tuna from good friend and colleague
Al McGlashan .
This simple Tamari glaze complements the flavour of the tuna but is secondary to the fresh, melt-in-your-mouth barbecued flakes of seafood greatness. This quick and delicious dish will persuade you to venture outdoors and light up the BBQ for a dish you can enjoy over a few lazy wines with family and friends.
