Fruit Salad can be enjoyed as a healthy breakfast, lunch, or dessert. It is deliciously refreshing all by itself, but an indulgent scoop of ice cream to go with it really hits the spot in summer.

Preparation Time: 35 minutes
Cooking Time: N/A
Makes: 8 - 1- servings

Ingredients
1 small pineapple
1 mango
1 granny smith apple
1 orange
2 kiwifruit
2 plums
2 handfuls of red grapes
Splash of orange squash

Method

  • Chop the head and skin off the pineapple, then core and chop into cubes.

  • Core the apple, slice, and add to the bowl.

  • Slice the orange in half and then remove the peel and pith, before adding to the bowl.

  • Peel the kiwis, slice and quarter, and then add to the bowl.

  • Cut your knife all the way around the plum, up to the stone. Do this until you have divided it into eighths, and the pull the segments away from the stone. Add to the bowl.

  • Slice the mango a quarter of the way in, then lift and edge of the skin off the fruit and peel it away. Chop all the way around the stone, and then carefully slice the thin remaining strands off the stone. Add to the bowl.

  • Chop the grapes in half and add to the bowl.

  • Using a spoon mix all the fruit up.
  • Splash in a bit of orange squash.
