Tzatziki Dip
Tzatziki is a refreshing, flavour-full mix that can be used with pita or bread as a dip, or as a tasty sauce. The name originated from a Turkish word ‘cacik’ which means chutney.

Ingredients
185g plain Greek yoghurt
90g cucumber
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 clove of garlic, or half a teaspoon of crushed garlic
Salt and pepper
1 tablespoon mint

Method
Place the yogurt into a mixing bowl.

Mix the grated cucumber into the yoghurt.

Add lemon juice, salt and pepper, and garlic (either crush a clove of garlic and use this, or place a half teaspoon of already crushed garlic into the mix).Mix thoroughly.

Add mint and stir through (chopped fresh mint can be used if available, or you can use mint flakes).
The mint will boost the dips flavour even more
Tzatziki is ready
Cover the tzatziki in cling wrap and refrigerate for 30 to 60 minutes to allow the flavours to develop.
Covering the tzatziki to chill
Serve with bread or pita, or as a sauce.
