Veal Schnitzel with Mushrooms, Spring Onions and Corn

Everyone often associates chicken when the word "schnitzel" is mentioned.

I decided to try something different - veal schnitzels are equally tasty and are bound to satisfy your grumbling tummy well!

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Makes: 2 servings

500g veal schnitzel
300g mushrooms
4 spring onions
2x corn on the cob
1x French Onion Gravy Packet
Garlic Steak seasoning

Chop up the spring onions into medium-sized chunks.

Cut the mushroom into halves.

In a large saucepan, place about a tablespoon of oil and cook on medium heat.

Place one piece of the veal schnitzel onto the saucepan and cook till both sides turn golden-brown.

Repeat this process with the other piece of schnitzel.

Place the schnitzels onto two plates and cover with a lid to retain the heat.

Now, cook the mushrooms and spring onions in the saucepan (either in oil/butter).

Add Garlic Steak seasoning as desired for flavour.

Serve on the plate next to the schnitzels.

Cook the corn in the microwave for about 2 minutes, after drizzling it with melted butter.

Serve on the side with the schnitzels.

Optional Use a French Onion Gravy packet and make the gravy as per the directions on the packet. Drizzle over the schnitzels.
