Vegetable Pulao

is all time favourite and very healthy dish. Easy to cook and it tastes delicious.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Servings: 3-4

Ingredients[Image3]
1 cup long grain Basmati rice
2 finely chopped green chillies
1 sliced onion
4-5 finely chopped French beans
Green peas
Cauliflower
Finely chopped coriander
5-6 curry leaves
1 tsp Jeera
1 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp oil
1 tsp garam masala
Cashew nuts and raisins to garnish

Method
  • Take 1 cup basmati rice and wash it thoroughly.
  • Cook the rice in rice cooker or pressure cooker.
  • Heat the oill in a pan and add the Jeera, curry leaves and green chillies.
  • Add the sliced onion and stir until it turns golden brown in colour.
  • Add the French beans, green peas and cauliflower.
  • Cook until they become a little soft.
  • Add the turmeric powder.
  • Add the cooked rice to the vegetables in the pan.

  • Then add the garam masala and salt to taste.
  • Mix it thoroughly and garnish it with coriander and dry cashew nuts and raisins.
  • Serve it hot with curd.
