Vegetable Stir Fry with Oyster Sauce

Here's a simple and super quick vegetable stir fry dish that completes and complements other Asian-styled meat or egg dishes, such as a
Thai omelette .

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients
1 small broccoli
1 carrot, sliced into matchsticks
2 red/orange mini vine capsicums, sliced into matchsticks
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon water
1 teaspoon sugar
1 bird's eye chilli, thinly cut



Method
  • Mix together the oyster sauce, soy sauce, water, sugar and chilli.



  • Heat up the oil in a pan (or wok) then add the garlic.
  • Stir in the vegetables and toss around for about 2 minutes.



  • Pour in the bowl of sauce and mix for about 2 minutes.



  • Serve immediately with white rice.
