Ingredients For the Brownies:
2 cups white flour
2 cups white sugar
3/4 cups sweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup water
1 cup vegetable oil (I use olive oil because I like the taste)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the chocolate drizzle (optional)
2 teaspoon cocoa powder
2 teaspoon icing sugar
1 teaspoon oil
3 teaspoon water
Method For the brownies
Preheat the oven to 175 degree Celsius (350 degree Fahrenheit).
In a large bowl, sieve the flour and baking powder together.
Add in the rest of the dry ingredients.
Pour in water, vegetable oil and vanilla.
Mix until everything is well blended.
Spread evenly in a 9x13 inch baking pan
Bake for 25 - 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the top is no longer shiny.
Let cool for at least 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
For the chocolate drizzle
In a microwavable bowl, mix all of the ingredients well.
Microwave for 2 minutes 30 second, or until they are shiny but not boiling (depends on your microwave power).
Drizzle on the brownie before it cools.
Refrigerate for at least 3 hours to let the drizzle settle before cutting into squares.
