Vegetarian Moroccan Burgers
These burgers are deliciously filling, packed with healthy vegetables and a kick of Moroccan flavoring. They are easy and quick to prepare and it will be in your tummy in no time.

Makes: 3 servings
Ingredients
1x packet of 4 Moroccan Burgers (Purchased at Woolworths)
3 slices of roasted peppers (can be purchased at your local grocery in the deli section)
3 hamburger buns, halved
2 tomatoes, sliced
4 mushrooms, sliced
1 onion, sliced
1 teaspoon sugar
1 cup of baby spinach
Cheese ( 4 slices or 3 cup shredded cheese)
1x canned slice beetroot
Method
Slice the onions, mushrooms and tomatoes into thin slices and place aside.
Cut the burgers into halves and place aside.
Heat a pan over medium heat and add oil to the pan.
Cook the mushroom until soft and remove from pan.
Cook the onion in the pan on high heat and add sugar. Cook until caramelized. Set aside when completed.
Fry the Moroccan burgers in a pan on each side for 4-5 minutes on medium heat until brown.
Place cheese on top of the Moroccan burgers in the pan and cover pan until cheese has melted.
To assemble the Burger:
Place the Moroccan burger on the bottom burger bun.
Then add onions, mushrooms, beetroot, tomatoes, roasted peppers and spinach to the burger.
Top off with the top burger bun and it is ready to be consumed
