Walnut Banana Smoothie

Sick of too-sweet smoothies that give you a sugar spike? Balance that familiar high and counter the low, with some all-natural, vegan protein: walnuts.



This simple, yet deliciously balanced smoothie will give you a great start to the day.

Preparation Time: 1 minute
Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients
5 ripe bananas
Chunk (1cm piece) of peeled ginger
10 walnuts

Method
  • Add the bananas and ginger to a blender along with some water if needed to aid blending.

  • Give it a try to see how you like the consistency.





  • Top with the walnuts and enjoy.
