White Chocolate Cream Cheese Spread

White Chocolate Cream Cheese Spread

This is a delicious, sweet treat for a snack, dessert or party dish. It's easy, quick and inexpensive to make. This recipe is enough to make two logs.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Chill Time: 30 minutes
Makes: 2 logs of approximately 20 servings each

White Chocolate Cheese Spread

1 tub of spreadable cream cheese, softened.
80 - 100 grams of white chocolate
2 tablespoons of sugar
Approx. 1/2 cup of crushed hazlenuts
Plain or sweet biscuits for spreading (gingerbread is perfect.)

Gently melt the chocolate to stirring consistency
Place the cream cheese, chocolate and sugar in a bowl and mix thoroughly.

Chill in the fridge for around 30 minutes.
In the meantime, crush the hazelnuts and set aside.
When the mixture has chilled, remove from fridge and separate into 2 equal pieces.

Roll each piece into a small log shape and then roll each in the crushed hazelnuts.

Serve with biscuits and a spreading knife.
Will keep for two or three days in the fridge (covered.)
